DoubleTake is the layer that gets the room ready. It goes on first, unscented and invisible, and by the time your main blend reaches someone’s nose they are already inclined to like you.

What Is DoubleTake?

DoubleTake is a stealth additive: an unfragranced pheromone layer you wear underneath any of our formulas to smooth and strengthen what they do. For years it lived quietly inside our Ammo and Turn Up the Heat “DoubleTake Editions,” baked in as the ingredient that made those versions play nicer with a crowd. We have broken it out into its own bottle so you can pair it with anything you already own.

It carries no cologne of its own by design. That is what lets it disappear under whatever you layer on top, from a serious androstenone blend to a light social spray.

What It Does

Field reports describe DoubleTake as a social primer. Users commonly say it makes an aggressive blend more acceptable to the people around them, taking the fear or edge off a signal that might otherwise read as too much.

Test users describe a moment they can feel land: someone catches the DoubleTake note, softens, becomes noticeably more receptive, and then whatever else you are wearing goes to work. The name fits the effect wearers describe most, the second look, the head that turns twice.

When and Where to Use It

How to Wear It

If you are newer to stacking

Put DoubleTake on first, then your usual blend over the top, and wear less of both than you think you need. Its whole job is to make your other formula land more gently, so you are looking for a warmer reception than a louder one.

If you are an experienced mixer

Try the covered-and-uncovered trick our field users swear by: wear one blend layered over DoubleTake and a second blend on a different spot with no DoubleTake at all. Reports describe the two signals harmonizing in ways neither one produces alone.

Downsides

DoubleTake is a supporting layer, so on its own it will not turn heads the way a full attraction formula does. Worn solo and unscented, it reads as a quiet base, so most wearers keep a scented formula on top of it.

Because it carries no fragrance, it also does nothing to cover the funk of a raw androstenone blend; you still want a scented formula on top for that. And like every pheromone product, response varies with the person, the setting, and the day. Michael’s report above is a fair picture: vivid results in some conditions, quiet ones in others.

Why It Exists

DoubleTake started life as an upgrade hidden inside other products. Years ago we sold “DoubleTake Editions” of our most popular formulas, most notably Ammo and Turn Up the Heat, where it worked as the additive that widened their appeal and calmed their sharper edges. The Turn Up the Heat DoubleTake Edition, for one, was built to draw a wider range of women under more scenarios while keeping androstenone at its heart.

Enough wearers asked for it on its own, as a plain stealth layer they could add to anything, that we finally bottled it by itself. Now the ingredient that used to come pre-mixed into two formulas is yours to pair with your whole collection.

Technical

DoubleTake ships unfragranced and is meant to be layered rather than worn solo. It uses the same Stealth Diffusion Technology built into our other formulas, the additive that has co-evolved with our pheromone work for the better part of twenty years to lift a signal off your skin toward the people near you.
